And we did it again. This time it is Nomad’s turn. She has been nominated for ‘The Viking’, the Press Award of Scandinavia for her images of Lapland. The winner of the Press Award will be announced on June 2016.
The images were made in Gold of Lapland commissioned by 360 ° magazine and they form part of the documentary Born to Run. Gold of Lapland is the northern part of the Swedish Västerbotten. A region full of wild nature, clear lakes and rugged mountain peaks.
Scandinavian Press Award
This was once the area of the mining industry, but now it is mostly known for the Västerbotten cheese and the amazing opportunities for outdoor sports. The Viking is the award of the tourist boards of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
